Welcome to the headquarters of the 2009 Washington Family Reunion. Throughout the planning process you will be able to find valuable updates at this website. As voted upon at the family reunion in 2007 we will be cruising in 2009. At this reunion you can kick back and relax, or party till you drop while enjoying the sights and sounds of the western Caribbean aboard a Carnival Cruise ship.
In 2009 we are embracing the theme “Keeping with Tradition, Celebrating Our Roots.” The Washington Family Reunion originated around Grandma Opia’s dinning room table on Thanksgiving Day. To honor this tradition, our 2009 family reunion will take place during the week of Thanksgiving. At the previous reunion we reflected upon the contributions and hardships of our family’s pioneers. After learning of their endurance we have more than enough cause to celebrate them. Don’t miss the celebration of life, history, love, and most importantly family at the 2009 Washington Family Reunion.
